PERANCANGAN WISATA PESISIR PANTAI PASIR PUTIH KABUPATEN SITUBONDO DENGAN PENDEKATAN ECO-CULTURAL

Abstract

Abstract Indonesia is one of the island countries in the world that is rich in various cultures and biodiversity. Among these bio diversity are coral reefs. It is about more than 50% of the coral reefs in the world are found in Indonesia. Likewise, with the diverse culture. However, it cannot be denied that from the abundance of biodiversity and cultural diversity it is actually difficult to introduce it to the wider community. On the other hand, Indonesia's tourism sector always increases every year. So that, one of the opportunities used to introduce the various cultures and biodiversity is in the tourism sector, for example Coastal Tourism. Coastal tourism is community-based tourism that accommodates a variety of cultural activities of coastal communities and displays a variety of marine diversity packaged in tourism activities.

The location used by researcher as the object of designing coastal tourism is at Pasir Beach, Situbondo Regency The reason for choosing this location is because in Situbondo Regency there is no place to display various cultures and diversity of marine biota, one of which is through tourism activities. The design is expected to accommodate tourists, and the general public from all walks of life. this can also be used as a space to get to know the various cultures and diversity of marine biota Pantai Putih District Situbondo. besides, it is also a means of educating the community. In designing this Pasir Putih Beach Tourism will also be studied how to conserve the White Sand Beach so that this tourism activity is not only fun but also participates in nature conservation. The principles of the Eco- cultural approach are also very much considered in the design of this tour to focus on natural tourism designs that pay attention to the surrounding natural conditions. On the other hand, with the presence of new tourist facilities on the coast of Pasir Putih Beach, it will automatically increase the economy of the local community and indirectly will increase the standard of living of the Pasir Putih coastal community in Situbondo Regency.
